Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead the Aftersales Department at a busy Gloucester dealership. The role requires proven management in the Motor Trade, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Salary: £40,000 basic with a £55,000 OTE and a company car. Hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm, with occasional Saturdays. Ref:31717. Career progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within the Motor Trade.
• Strong understanding of automotive Aftersales, Service and Workshop operations.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the Aftersales Department, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Service and Workshop teams to achieve departmental targets.
• Maximise workshop productivity, profitability and overall Aftersales performance.
• Monitor workflow, job allocation and workshop efficiency to ensure work is completed on time.
• Resolve customer enquiries and issues relating to servicing, repairs, warranties and MOTs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer retention and departmental profitability.
