Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment consultancy seeks an experienced Aftersales Manager to manage WIP, warranty, and team performance in Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the motor trade, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include upholding franchise standards and driving sales performance. This is a permanent, full-time role with competitive remuneration and working hours from Monday to Friday, including occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Service Reception, Workshop, and Parts departments.
  • Ability to command respect and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong understanding of departmental KPIs.

Responsibilities

£36k basic DOE with £42k – £45k OTE + Car

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 6pm)

1 in 3 Saturdays (8am – 12pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • You will manage and control WIP, warranty and debtors as well as managing the parts support process and ensuring Aftersales franchise standards and manufacturer relationships are maintained.
  • You must be able to command respect, trust and set the pace for the team, finding positive ways to achieve business results.
  • You will be monitoring and controlling sales activity by reviewing performance with individuals and agreeing action required to improve sales.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a progressive career to date and have a good understanding of departmental KPIs, modern motivational techniques and ideally have a strong technical background.
Your Background & Skill:
  • Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or someone looking to step up who has strong experience and knowledge of the Service Reception, Workshop and Parts departments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good at problem solving and identifying solutions for core issues, taking responsibility for your own decision and actions.
  • Ability to manage a team and give instruction.
