Overview

Care Assistants required for a Nottingham based care home, specialising in care of residents with dementia and other age-related illnesses. This role is all about helping residents to live happy, enriched lives, providing a friendly face and aiding them in their day-to-day routines. As you get to know the residents you support, you will be able to recognize and help them achieve their personal goals.   • Carry out domestic tasks as required, following health and safety guidelines and completing condition update reports.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Checkable work history.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If not up to date, online training is available with an added fee.
  • In-date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, arrangements can be made to issue a new one.

Salary and Hours

This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role. Typical hours are Saturday to Sunday, starting at 16:00 and finishing at 22:00. Hourly rate is £12.55 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
