Job summary

A leading aerospace inspection company in the United Kingdom is urgently seeking Quality Inspectors to provide on-demand support in Derby. Candidates must have over 2 years of aerospace experience, knowledge of engineering drawings, and familiarity with AS9100 standards. This is a contract role inside IR35, requiring support for 2-3 weeks at a time, typically with one week’s notice. Strong communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• More than 2 years of aerospace experience in the past 5 years.
• Experience working in an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing visual and dimensional inspection.
• Reviewing manufacturing documentation and completeness.
• Preparing non-conformance reports as necessary.
