Qualifications

• Degree educated, ideally within mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles.
• Experience in validation testing and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage design innovation to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate compliance with customer requirements.
• Generate and deliver technical presentations.

Skills

Strong understanding of engineering (mathematics, stressing, materials and manufacturing techniques)

Ability to absorb and assess technical information

Good understanding of DFMEA, ‘Design to Cost’ and ‘Design for Manufacture’ (DFM)

Excellent document / report writing skills

Trials / assessment testing experience (e.g. structural testing, vibration, etc.)

Education

Degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or related discipline
