Overview

Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility Marston Green providing specialist technical support of Hydro-mechanical Fuel Control Units for the Aerospace industry globally.

Principle Accountabilities

Build, evaluate and test hydromechanical fuel systems across a wide variety of Marston Green products: Fuel Metering units, Fuel Pumps, ram assisted actuators and various military products.

Teamwork is an essential part of the facility, bias for action and a culture of improving the processes with the help of all technicians is adopted. Openness and hard work are essential tools to success within the hydromech cells.

Qualifications
  • Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Previous Aerospace Engineering experience desirable
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills for dealing with repairs.
Personal Characteristics
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • The ability to cope with new demands and new problems to be solved.
  • Good communication skills and must be able to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems and manufacturing processes is preferred
