Job summary

A major NHS hospital trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Fellow in Movement Disorders. The role, based at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, involves providing high-level patient care, participating in multidisciplinary services, and gaining educational opportunities. Ideal candidates will hold an MRCP or equivalent and show experience in Neurology. The position offers a gross salary of £73,992 per annum with a fixed-term contract of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in Neurology and keen interest in pursuing a career in Neurology/Stroke.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, data protection, and Good Clinical Practice.
• Experience working in the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a range of movement disorders.
• Participate in clinics, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary services.
• Attend regular outpatient clinics and evaluate patients.

Skills

Advanced IT proficiency (Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Database, Email)

Excellent written and oral communication with colleagues

Good interpersonal skills

Education

Completion of CMT training or equivalent

MRCP or equivalent

Eligible for full registration with GMC
