Qualifications

• Advanced Practitioner with evidence of MSc level education, ideally in Advancing Practice / Minor Injury.
• Experience in managing acute undifferentiated presentations is desirable.
• Satisfactory DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and plan care for patients.
• Prescribe medications where qualified and clinically indicated.
• Work as an autonomous Practitioner within defined scope.

Skills

Experience in urgent / emergency care

Ability to triage

Understanding of autonomous practice

Education

MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses

First Level registered Nurse (NMC, ECP), or ACP

Non-medical prescribing qualification
