A community health provider in Burton on the Wolds is seeking an experienced administrator to support their Sexual Health Hub. The role includes reception duties, patient management using dedicated systems, and maintaining effective administrative processes. Ideal candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English, strong communication, and organizational skills. Flexibility in working hours is essential, and the salary ranges from £23,875 to £24,465 pro-rata, along with various benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Leicestershire & Rutland Sexual Health Hub for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our friendly and welcoming team! As part of your role as an administrator you will assist with the provision of the Sexual Health Hub and contribute to the effective running of the clinics through the delivery of administrative tasks. You will directly support the service by maintaining administrative systems and procedures including reception duties, back‑office support, minute taking, managing incoming calls from the Single Point of Access (SPA) and performing required patient contact. You will be proficient in the use of computerised systems for booking and tracking all types of patient appointments and maintaining accurate patient electronic records. This is an 18.5‑hour role requiring flexibility to cover the clinic’s opening times over weekends and evenings, including one Saturday. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel). Other requirements: Must be flexible in regard to evenings and weekends, travel across localities, and be able to travel to localities. While not essential, experience with Sexual Health Services or other health settings such as GP surgery and experience of using Electronic Patient Records is desirable.
