Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Adult Community Treatment Team. The role is mainly based at the Plessey Centre in Blyth, with regular cross-site coverage at West Farm House in Cramlington on service need.

Travel expenses are covered per Trust policy. The successful candidate will have prior administrative experience and RSA/OCR Typing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in administration within a busy team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using MS Office and IT systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team.
• Act as first point of contact for the service and greet clients.
• Respond to telephone and email inquiries; manage reception duties.
• Manage shared inbox, arrange appointments and meetings.
• Update RiO patient information system; type letters/reports.
• Take notes at team meetings; process post; order supplies.
• Report estates issues and respond to day-to-day queries.
• Work with initiative and meet deadlines.
