A higher education institution in Truro is seeking a proactive Administration Assistant to provide reception duties and administrative support within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. This full-time role involves managing student inquiries, processing claims, and assisting with record maintenance in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a flexible attitude to thrive in an administrative setting. This role requires a commitment to supporting academic processes across various nursing sites.
The School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNAM), within the Faculty of Health, delivers nursing and midwifery training across three sites in Plymouth, Exeter and Truro. We are seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to provide reception duties and cross site programme and placement administrative support in a busy and ever changing environment. The post will be located at the Truro School of Nursing at the Knowledge Spa in The Royal Cornwall Hospital, although travel to other sites may be required.
Due to the nature of the role, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate working from home.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed‑term basis until 31 December 2026 to cover a period of absence.
