A regional healthcare provider in England is seeking an Administration Assistant to support their community referral hub. This vital role involves setting up meetings, taking minutes, and providing operational support to ensure effective patient discharge and services. The ideal candidate should have experience in administration tasks, be proficient in IT, and work well both independently and as part of a team. This position offers the chance to contribute to healthcare improvements in the community.
We are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic, motivated and independent individual to come and join our community team.
The role of Administration Assistant is a vital role within our community referral hub. The Integrated Services Directorate is an admission avoidance service – we aim to support our patients and Emergency Department to avoid patients going into hospital. We also support patients that are in hospital, with a hopeful earlier, safer and more effective discharge, to meet our WVT target of "home by lunch".
Our ideal candidate is highly professional, experienced within all aspects of administration duties, including proficient use of all IT equipment and Microsoft software. You will be able to work as part of a team but also be able to use your own initiative and work autonomously.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people and who can see the bigger picture, who isn't afraid of every day being different and things moving at a fast pace.
