Ards and North Down Borough Council is looking for an experienced Part-Time Admin Officer to provide high-quality administrative support relating to procurement and grants.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role, is confident working with information and documentation, and takes pride in delivering accurate and professional work.
Based primarily at Tower House, you will provide administrative support across procurement and grant-related activities. This will include maintaining accurate records, preparing, and processing documentation, coordinating information, supporting meetings, and providing general administrative assistance to the team.
Minute taking is an essential requirement of the role, so you will need to be confident taking accurate minutes, recording actions, and producing clear, professional documentation.
The role will also involve occasional attendance at Council-funded events, as well as some attendance at other Council sites when required.
We are happy to discuss the working pattern with the successful applicant and will consider flexibility around which days are worked.
We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and able to work independently, while also being a positive and supportive member of the wider team.
You will have:
Experience of working in procurement, grants administration or a public sector environment would be advantageous, although applicants with strong transferable administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
