Candidates will teach courses as required by the department. Teaching will normally entail preparing teaching materials, giving lectures, overseeing laboratories, project work, grading, and/or developing assessment mechanisms. Course assignments will be determined by department need and candidate background.

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to public engagement through their teaching, service, and scholarship.








Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in teaching discipline). Industry experience in the discipline required.




Candidates with extensive practical laboratory and experimentation background are highly desirable.
