A national charity providing specialist education and care in Hertfordshire seeks an Accounts Assistant. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and supporting month-end reporting within a collaborative team. Ideal candidates will possess experience in finance, attention to detail, and strong Excel abilities. The position offers a competitive salary, generous pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development, including AAT qualification support.
Salary: £26,706 - £28,446 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Onsite)
Location: Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (just 10 minutes from Bishop's Stortford and Harlow)

As part of our friendly Finance Team, you'll play a key role in keeping our charity's finances accurate, compliant, and running smoothly.
From processing invoices and reconciling accounts to supporting month-end reporting and liaising with departments across the organisation, you'll be part of a team that ensures every penny helps us deliver outstanding care and education.

Experience with accounting software or an AAT qualification (or working towards one) would be an advantage - however, what matters most is your commitment to accuracy and our values. We also offer the opportunity and full support to complete a fully funded AAT qualification as part of your professional development.
