Accounts Assistant

Location: Avonmouth

Salary: £28,469 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm or
  • Monday – Friday, 10am–2:30pm (pro rata salary)

We are looking for an organised and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our busy team in Avonmouth. You will manage your own section of customers and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the accounts department.

Main Duties
  • Managing your own ledger of customers
  • Releasing orders and taking payments
  • Handling customer queries
  • Chasing overdue invoices
  • Assisting with allocating cash receipts when required
  • Basic credit control responsibilities (full training provided)
  • Using simple spreadsheets for daily tasks
Skills & Experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence using spreadsheets
  • Previous credit control or accounts experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
