Job summary

CMD Recruitment Limited in Chippenham is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage key client relationships, maximise account potential and deliver high service standards.

You will work with the Account Director, own client relationships, and identify opportunities for growth while ensuring smooth account operations. This role requires strong communication and financial acumen.

Hybrid working, 37.5 hours per week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and free on-site parking are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, client services or a similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships as main contact.
• Lead client meetings and quarterly reviews; ensure actions followed.
• Monitor service performance and coordinate with internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and revenue.
• Manage client pricing, billing, invoicing and related documents.
• Maintain forecasts, trackers and performance reports.
• Collaborate to improve processes and client experience.

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a well-established organisation in Chippenham, managing key client relationships, maximising account potential and ensuring consistently high service standards.

Working closely with the Account Director, you'll take ownership of client relationships, ensuring accounts run smoothly while identifying opportunities for growth.

The Role

• Building strong client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for queries and issues
• Leading client meetings and quarterly reviews, ensuring actions are followed through
• Monitoring service performance and working with internal teams to resolve issues
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase revenue
• Managing client pricing, billing, invoicing and commercial documentation
• Maintaining accurate forecasts, trackers and account performance reports
• Working with colleagues to improve processes and enhance the client experience

About You

• Experience in account management, client services or a similar customer-facing role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around financial processes and reporting
• Confidence managing client expectations and resolving problems
• The ability to spot opportunities for account growth
• Experience using CRM systems, billing platforms or forecasting tools
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
