Away Resorts is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Bude Holiday Resort to lead the Accommodation team, ensuring guest accommodation is spotless and well-equipped for arrivals. You will deputise for the Accommodation Manager when needed and collaborate with park managers to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The role suits a proactive leader with experience in housekeeping or cleaning, strong people skills and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Good level of general education.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning with understanding of standards.
• Ability to manage performance issues and conflicts assertively and empathetically.
• Good communication and ability to adapt style to different levels.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in recruiting, managing and developing the Accommodation team.
• Ensuring guest accommodation is ready for arrivals to the highest standards and resolving guest issues.
• Collaborating with the Accommodation Manager and park managers to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Ensuring maintenance, cleaning and stock of equipment are managed and resources available.
• Championing Health and Safety policies for team and guest safety.
• Deputising for the Accommodation Manager when absent.
