Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking an Assistant Accommodation Manager to work with the Accommodation Manager, coordinating and supporting the team to deliver high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all accommodation types.

You will help with daily operations, staff recruitment and onboarding, coaching, and cross‑team collaboration with Maintenance and Guest Experience to respond to guest requests and resolve issues quickly, including weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing teams.
• Ability to coordinate complex daily business operations.
• Experience with forecasting labour and resource planning.
• Confident using standard IT systems and applications.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training Accommodation team members.
• Helping to build and maintain a positive team culture focused on high standards.
• Supporting the Accommodation Manager with team structure, role delegation, and clarity of responsibilities.
• Providing day-to-day coaching, supporting 1-2-1s, and encouraging team development.
• Supporting initiatives that drive engagement, motivation, and team recognition.
• Assisting in the daily coordination of cleaning operations across all accommodation types.
• Carrying out regular spot checks and inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Monitoring daily performance and helping prepare action plans to support continuous improvement.
• Working closely with Maintenance and Guest Experience teams to support check-ins, repairs, guest requests, and special requirements.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest queries, helping resolve issues with minimal disruption.
