About us

Menzies LLP is on a mission to be recognised as the leading firm of advisers and accountants to individuals and businesses. Inspiring people through BRIGHTER THINKING is how we sum up the difference we make to our clients. The ACA Programme

You will be based in our Audit & Assurance service line where you'll gain valuable commercial insights into how organisations operate and the challenges they face. Your responsibilities will grow as you progress through the programme, with the potential to supervise other trainees by your second year.

What does our Audit & Assurance team do?

Our Audit & Assurance teams carry out a detailed, risk‑based review of a company's financials to determine whether the financial statements are an accurate reflection.

We look to challenge the financial operations of a company and help to improve the internal processes of a business. This is critical in today's business world as its financial statements are one of only a small number of documents that a company will place into the public domain, and a quality audit gives confidence in what is delivered to all stakeholders.

What do we look for?
  • Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
  • A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any degree discipline
  • Minimum of 2 x A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
  • Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
  • Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you!

What can we offer?
  • Agile working policy
  • Dress for your day policy
  • 23.5 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Structured career development plans
  • A vibrant CSR programme & social events to connect with colleagues
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for confidential support 24/7
