South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust in Crawley is seeking an Emergency Medical Advisor (999 Call Handler). You will take 999 calls, assess urgency, and provide life-saving guidance using NHS Pathways, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered support from our NHS 111/999 contact centres.

Training is provided in a warm, supportive environment, with 24/7 shift patterns including nights and weekends. Flexible working and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in stressful situations.
• Fast and accurate typing with good basic IT literacy.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in a care or service role.

Responsabilités

• Answer 999 calls and provide life-saving guidance using NHS Pathways.
• Direct callers to appropriate services and coordinate with responders.
• Maintain compassionate support and effective communication with callers.
• Work within a 24/7 shift pattern including nights and weekends.
