Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a local council, in their waste services department. Pay rates from £15.21 per hour depending on shifts. The role of 7.5t HGV Driver is based in Braintree.

Shifts

• 07:00 to finish, usually before 15:00
• Monday to Friday (some Saturdays following a Bank Holiday)
• 37 hours per week guaranteed even if working less

Pay

• £15.21 per hour
• £22.81 per hour after 37 hours worked in one week
• Paid weekly

Main Duties

• Collecting domestic waste from the Braintree area
• Safety driving a 7.5t truck
• Daily pre-vehicle checks
• Helping the general public
• No multi-drop, early finishes with guaranteed hours, no long drives
