Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Maidstone area for multiple 7.5 tonne drivers. You will work Monday to Friday with 09:00 starts, handling up to 20 deliveries daily and loading/unloading parcels as needed.

Use company software to update delivery statuses and conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure road worthiness and safety compliance. This temp-to-perm role offers a PAYE rate of £16.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence; safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Up to 20 deliveries/collections per day.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Maidstone area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts

Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour

Location: ME20 6WT

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

• Up to 20 deliveries/ collections a day
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
• New pass welcome to apply
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
