Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Park Royal area for 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team. Hours are Monday to Friday with a start time of 09:30am.

Pay rates are £17.61 per hour with overtime rate after 40 hours at £24.99 PAYE. Location is Park Royal NW10. This is an ongoing role requiring loading/unloading, device usage, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
• New pass welcome.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections.
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
