Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well known client in the Bournemouth area for multiple 7.5 tonne drivers. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, manual handling, and using company software to update delivery statuses.

Hours are Monday to Friday starting 09:00 with overtime after 40 hours. Location shown as BH21 7BU. A Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement, and DCPC/Tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)
• New pass welcome to apply (assessment will be required for anyone under 12 months)
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts

Pay Rates: £16.05 per hour with overtime of £23.43 after 40 hours

Location: BH21 7BU

The role:

• Multi-drop collections and deliveries
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
