We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mazak Integrex 5‑Axis CNC Setter Machinist to join our team.

• £16.00 to £20.00 per hour, permanent, dependent upon experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Role Summary

• Setting and operating 5‑axis CNC machines to prove out the process of new products and batch production.
• Creating and editing programs online using Mazak (Mazatrol Smooth) and/or Heidenhain controls. Complex parts are generally programmed offline, and the candidate will be required to be highly competent to engineer and prove out the parts on the machine.
• Performing in‑process manual measurement and signing off work instructions to comply with Quality Management and Internal Process Control.
• Maintaining high standards of documents and product traceability.

About You

• You will have proven experience machining complex components in aluminium and ferrous materials, ideally castings.
• Will have used Heidenhain and/or Mazak 5‑axis controls. We would be interested in candidates who have also programmed offline.
• Due to the complexity of cast components machined you will have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Comfortable with proving out development parts and new methods of manufacture.
• Eligible to work within the UK and looking for a long‑term progressive career.
