Job summary

Jago Consultants in Worthing, UK, is seeking a friendly and experienced 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join a busy MSP help desk. You will handle second-line inquiries, support complex IT issues, and monitor servers and networks.

Role includes hands-on work with servers, desktops, networking devices, routers, printers, and bespoke applications. There is potential to visit client sites for installations and upgrades as you progress.

Qualifications

• 2nd Line level experience required.
• MSP environment preferred.
• Office 365 Administration and Office suite knowledge.
• Microsoft Server 2008 knowledge.
• Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019 knowledge.
• Networking protocols and devices (Draytek/Netgear).
• Telephone systems experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming helpdesk enquiries and assist 1st Line to resolve issues.
• Provide support to more complex IT, network and VOIP issues.
• Server configuration and monitoring.
• Hands-on with servers, desktops, networking devices, printers and bespoke applications.
• Opportunity to perform client site checks with installations and upgrades.
• Ensure SLAs are met and customers are treated professionally.
