Job summary

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable 2nd line IT support engineer to bolster our Digital Services team. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices within a large NHS environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure and identity services.

You will work across Bristol, Weston and North Bristol sites, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to cyber security and infrastructure modernisation

Qualifications

• Strong desktop support experience in complex NHS/enterprise environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience with Windows, macOS/iOS/Android platforms and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, MECM and mobile device management.
• Experience operating within ITIL Incident, Problem and Change processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and cyber security issues; escalate when required.
• Install, configure and support Windows, iOS, Android and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure, MECM and MDM solutions.
• Support LAN/WAN networks, wireless, video conferencing and clinical technologies.
