Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Security & Customer Service Officer at Le Shuttle (Eurotunnel) in Folkestone. You'll help keep passengers and freight safe while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

The role requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence, prior security experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence (Mandatory).
• Previous experience in an SIA security role.
• Excellent customer service experience in a public-facing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organised and professional approach.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible to work a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to passengers throughout their journey.
• Conduct passenger, vehicle and freight security searches.
• Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment.
• Support the efficient movement of passengers and vehicles through the terminal.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple operational areas.
• Respond professionally in a busy, safety-critical environment.
• Follow all security, health & safety and operational procedures.
