Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a GSOC Operator to monitor alarms and CCTV, respond to incidents, and coordinate with leadership across the EMEA region. You will support crisis and non-crisis situations, dispatch teams, and maintain accurate incident records.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure, with potential for second language functionality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar environment.
• Strong experience using CCTV systems; SIA CCTV licence is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Monitor alarms, surveillance cameras, and video equipment to detect incidents.
• Answer routine and emergency calls, providing assistance to staff and visitors.
• Dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire, and EMS as needed.
• Proactively monitor and respond to all security and safety alarms.
• Communicate incident information to leadership and partners via established channels.
• Escalate critical events to GSOC Lead Operator and Shift Manager immediately.
• Maintain records of communications, events, and equipment.
• Contribute to threat intelligence and regional security awareness.
