Job summary

Securitas is seeking a SOC Operator in the UK to respond to calls and alarms, assess incidents, and take appropriate action. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling emergencies, welfare checks and coordinating with emergency services.

The role requires clear English communication, calm and decisive response under pressure, and a flexible approach to shifts, including nights and weekends. A genuine commitment to helping others is essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• Live within a 45–50 minute commute to the site.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers, colleagues, contractors and emergency services.
• Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
• Prioritising critical alarms, including fire and lone worker activations.
• Escalating issues appropriately and ensuring timely resolution.
• Dispatching emergency and security services when required.
• Conducting welfare checks for officers and lone workers.
