Mitie Group plc. is seeking a GSOC Lead Operator to safeguard Meta's business across the EMEA region. You will lead a team of Shift Operators, manage incidents, and communicate updates to the Duty Security Manager, ensuring operational readiness and escalation when needed.

The role requires overseeing security operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in security incident management is preferred.
• Leadership toward level 3 management qualification is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain calm is essential.
• Willingness to work shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Duty Shift Manager for shift readiness and compliance.
• Complete daily shift setup and handovers; review updates.
• Cover Duty Shift Manager in their absence.
• Identify training needs and development opportunities.
• Oversee response to routine and emergency calls and monitor alarms.
