A health service provider is seeking two Dental Therapist Tutors to work at the Dumfries Dental Centre. The positions include one full-time and one part-time role. Candidates should have GDC registration and experience in education, with responsibilities including delivering the BSc Oral Health Science course using modern teaching methods such as video conferencing. This role requires obtaining PVG clearance.
NHS Dumfries and Galloway are looking for two Dental Therapist Tutors based at the Dumfries Dental Centre.
We have one full-time, 37hpw, post and one part-time post, 29.6hpw over 4 days a week. Candidates will be considered for both posts unless they clearly indicate a preference on their application.
The post holder should be a registrant with the GDC and have experience of, or be willing to undertake training in, education. The successful applicant will be part of a team of tutors delivering the University of Highlands and Islands, BSc Oral Health Science, in this innovative course which spans Dumfries, Inverness and Stornoway. Familiar with IT systems will be helpful as teaching is undertaken across video conferencing systems and in the virtual learning environment.
This post will require the successful applicant to have/obtain PVG Clearance.
