Job summary

Spectrum IT are recruiting a Contract 1st Line Support Engineer to join a Portsmouth based company on an initial 6-month contract. Onsite 4 days per week with 1 day remote working.

As part of the IT Service Desk you will be the primary contact for UK offices, handling incidents, and supporting POS, CRM, and consumer-engagement platforms. ServiceNOW will be used daily to manage incidents with 2nd line collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1st line IT support experience with high incident closure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and MS Office.
• Experience supporting iOS devices in enterprise environments.
• Foundational network knowledge, esp. WiFi for corporate/in-store.
• Experience with SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary IT Service Desk contact for UK offices and manage incidents per SLA.
• Use ServiceNOW to log incidents and coordinate with 2nd line.
• Install, configure, and test hardware and software for office sites.
• Update knowledgebase and support wider IT team.
• Occasional travel within UK/Ireland for on-site installations.
