Job summary

Leo Technology is seeking a 1st/2nd Line Support professional to join a small IT function in Rainham, Essex. You’ll provide day‑to‑day technical support, troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, and desktop hardware, and help maintain the server estate.

The role offers on‑site working, a salary of £30,000-£38,000, and opportunities to expand beyond traditional support with training and development supported by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support and Microsoft infrastructure
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 and AD
• Experience with security, backups and endpoint protection
• Familiarity with server administration and virtualization

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business (in person and remote).
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365 and desktop hardware.
• Maintain approximately 30-40 PCs/devices and the company’s server estate.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 user accounts, permissions and licensing.
• Support Microsoft 365 security and MDM.
• Deploy Windows/Office updates across the environment.
• Monitor endpoint security and antivirus systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks to prevent issues.
• Collaborate with external IT support provider for escalation.
• Assist with adopting new Microsoft technologies, cloud services and integrations.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across IT infrastructure.
