Overview

11044 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a permanent contract at our 535 branch at Units 5 - 6 Berwick Parade, Brinnington, Stockport, SK5 8LQ. Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:30. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes promptly and conscientiously.
• Provide a high standard of customer service, portraying a friendly professional image and acting as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated period of time and ensure delivery accuracy in line with company procedures.
• Have very basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes in branch before starting deliveries.
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business (where required).
• Use your own vehicle for this role; ensure your personal insurance policy allows business use and obtain any necessary information from your insurer prior to attendance at interview. The company will contribute to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of documentation showing any increased premium.
• Work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Great people skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a customer-focused role.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery times.
• Very basic computer skills for planning and printing routes.
• Own vehicle with business-use insurance (proof required); contact insurer if needed.
• DBS check will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
