The School and Role

The LA are looking for an experienced teacher to provide face-to-face tuition to students who are outside mainstream settings.

The desired 1-2-1 Tutor will be working 2:1 with students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD.

The 1-2-1 Tutor role is long-term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning and to give the student the confidence to reach their full potential.

Requirements

• Professional Teaching Qualification (QTS / QTLS)
• Experience of working with young people with EHCPs
• Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH and ASD
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
• Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
