Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a compassionate 1:1 Autism Teaching Assistant in Iver to support a pupil with additional needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to help the pupil access learning and develop communication and social skills in a nurturing environment.

Role is full-time, starting October 2026, with a DBS Check required. Salary is MPS/UPS, with flexible working patterns available and access to training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a pupil with autism throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to meet the pupil’s needs.
• Support the pupil’s academic, social, emotional, and communication development.
• Build trust with the pupil to help them feel safe and understood.
• Adapt activities to suit the pupil’s abilities and learning style.
