Shift supervisors are responsible for an entire internal security shift. They work in the BDOC or equivalent force protection command watch floor 24/7 and serve as the operational link between the Government and the contractor. Duties include directing contractor personnel as part of the integrated defense of the installation in coordination with Government or coalition forces.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing unless otherwise specified at the task order level.
- Experience: Prior experience with personnel management as a military officer, warrant officer, senior non-commissioned officer, or senior law enforcement official, with at least 4 to 10 years of experience leading personnel in the armed forces, law enforcement, or private security in a contested/deployed environment. Military personnel must have an honorable discharge verified by DD Form-214 or a comparable document.
- Asset Management: Ability to account for all assigned weapons, radios, optics, and sensitive items during your shift, and report accordingly to the COR daily.
- Maintenance Coordination: Ability to coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance services and repairs for all assigned weapons, vehicles, and radios.
- Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of daily GA missions and assist administrative staff to ensure requirements are met at all times, maintaining an adequate GA workforce.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Internet Explorer.
