Adoc Talent Management is looking for a Quantitative Crypto Researcher / Financial Mathematics M/F for its client, a very innovative investment management company with a start-up spirit, offering a wide range of alternative strategies, specializing in equity derivatives: dividend futures and options on stocks and indices. They have the willingness to explore new businesses and are always seeking new opportunities in ever-changing financial markets.

Position

To optimize the company’s strategies, you will contribute to different R&D projects, developing statistical tools, strategy backtesting, exploiting new models through data analysis, and implementing them in practice.

You will be in charge of identifying investment prospects using statistical methods and analyzing extensive datasets while developing and testing quantitative investment strategies, executing trading strategies, and contributing to writing research papers.

This role offers the opportunity to join a growing hedge fund, collaborate closely with portfolio managers, and explore the highly promising digital asset industry. You will be expected to propose innovative financial strategies within the domain of cryptocurrency. Autonomy and adaptability are essential qualities for this role. You will have a unique opportunity to propose strategy, test, and explore different topics.

The position is to be filled in Paris as soon as possible, with the possibility of partial or full remote work.

Profile

You hold a PhD or a PhD plus post-doctoral fellowship, with a specialization in applied mathematics, finance or statistics. You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills. Skills in financial mathematics are essential, including coding, statistical data analysis, and the utilization of large databases.

Experience in quantitative trading, AI, and coding trading algorithms is crucial for this position. You have solid expertise in object-oriented programming, such as C, C++, or C#. An experience with Bloomberg would be advantageous.

Fluent in English, highly autonomous and self-driven, proactive, and creative, you can perform within a dynamic and challenging work environment.
