A global cruise line operating in France seeks a Superintendent to manage and develop newbuilding Deck and Bridge disciplines. This role involves coordination with shipyards and vendors, overseeing inspections and approvals, and ensuring the application of marine technology advancements. The ideal candidate will be a qualified naval architect or marine engineer with over five years of experience. Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this multicultural environment.

This position is responsible to manage, coordinate, follow and continuously develop all RCL Newbuilding Deck and Bridge discipline areas, including Open Decks. The Superintendent is also responsible to create and follow up program for the Newbuilding design, inspection and approval processes and responsible to communicate and share the ongoing activities and information with RCL Fleet vessels.
Deck officer at Sea / Naval Architect / Marine Engineer
Minimum five years of experience in the area of newbuilding marine technologies
High level communications skills. Ability proactively to create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, development partners and with remote based colleagues
Fluency in English. Computer literate.
Deep knowledge of SOLAS and IMOExcellent knowledge of ship technical systems, energy and environmental design and technology.
Capable of handling large systems and development projects simultaneously.
Ensure good and strong co‑operation with shipyards, suppliers, development partners and colleagues.
Able to teamwork in multicultural working environment and willingness to travel
