Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability and scalability across a European-scale platform. You will supervise infrastructure, observability, and reliability initiatives while mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.

Role spans on-call leadership, architecture reviews, and collaboration with product teams to improve production readiness. Strong background in SRE, cloud, and backend languages is required.

Qualifications

8+ years of SRE/platform engineering experience in large-scale production environments.
Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong Kubernetes expertise and deployment/scaling strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale reliability initiatives across the platform, spanning infra automation and observability.
Drive incident detection, response, and postmortem improvements.
Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards across product teams.
Participate in on-call rotation and improve on-call experience with actionable telemetry.
Mentor engineers and set technical direction across teams.
Collaborate with leadership on reliability-focused architectural decisions.
Partner with software teams to embed reliability early in the lifecycle.
