Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in Paris to lead reliability and scale across a European platform serving health professionals and patients. You will guide standardization, mentor engineers, and partner with SRE, software, and product teams to elevate operational maturity.

The role blends infrastructure, developer experience, and product engineering. Hybrid work, strong cloud and Kubernetes expertise, and a focus on reliability culture are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure within a large-scale environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong experience with containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Defined and operated SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Python, Ruby).
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, cross-cutting reliability initiatives across the platform.
• Drive improvements to incident detection, response, and postmortem analysis.
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards across product teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve on-call experience and telemetry.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive reliability practices across teams.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership and participate in architectural reviews.
• Partner with software teams to embed reliability early in development.
