Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering SRE team. You will drive reliability and scalability for our European-scale platform, ensuring it remains debuggable, resilient, and efficient across infrastructure and observability.

You will mentor engineers, shape reliability standards across 170+ applications, collaborate with product teams, and embed reliability early in the development lifecycle while supporting healthcare platforms used by thousands of

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE or platform engineering in large-scale environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, incl. deployment and scaling strategies.
• Implemented and operated SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets in production.
• Experience leading on-call rotations and incident response.
• Fluency in Go, Python, or Ruby for backend services.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-cutting reliability initiatives across the platform.
• Improve incident detection, response, and postmortem analysis.
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and reduce noise in alerts.
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate reliability engineering practices.
• Provide technical guidance in architecture reviews and platform discussions.
• Partner with software teams to embed reliability early in development.
