Alan is redefining prevention insurance and seeking a senior backend/platform engineer to own the platform, its safety, and observability. You will work across data, legal, security, and product teams to align requirements and expand data-rule coverage as the company grows globally.

You will ship core platform capabilities, create self-serve tooling, and ensure safe-by-default data handling across multiple countries, including GDPR-focused considerations.

Qualifications

• Senior/staff-level backend or platform engineering, with production ownership.
• Built and operated platforms or services used by other engineers.
• Able to influence across legal, security, data, and product teams.
• Fluent in English; French not required.

Responsabilités

• Own and run the platform core engine, safety mechanisms, and observability.
• Build the paved road with docs, templates, and self-serve tooling.
• Bridge across areas: align legal, security, data, and product on requirements.
• Grow the surface across data stores and third-party systems as Alan expands.
