Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance by combining insurance, prevention and care into a seamless user experience. The Engineering Data Foundations crew focuses on safe-by-default data life cycle, privacy, and scalable platform design across 1M+ members.

You will own and evolve the Data Privacy Orchestrator, expanding coverage and ensuring GDPR‑compliant data handling as Alan grows into new countries.

Qualifications

• Senior/staff-level backend or platform engineer with production ownership.
• Experience building platforms that other engineers depend on.
• Ability to align legal, security, data, and product teams on requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own the platform and its core engine, safety mechanisms, and health.
• Build self-serve docs, templates, and tooling for data rules across areas.
• Bridge across teams to align on requirements and data lifecycle.
• Grow the platform to cover more data stores and third‑party systems as Alan expands.
