Job summary

BKW is seeking a senior energy origination professional to develop and manage a client portfolio across Benelux from Paris. You will originate and negotiate tailored energy and risk management solutions, including structured power and gas agreements, flexibility products, hedging, and PPAs, building long-term commercial relationships.

The role requires a deep network in the Benelux energy market, fluency in English, and strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy origination, trading, or structured energy products.
• Strong network and relationships in the Benelux energy market; French market knowledge is a plus.
• Expertise in wholesale power and gas markets, structured products, and risk management; EFET/ISDA knowledge is an advantage.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow business independently.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a client portfolio with a focus on the Benelux region.
• Originate and negotiate tailored energy and risk management solutions, including structured power and gas agreements, flexibility products, hedging solutions, and PPAs.
• Identify new business opportunities and build long-term commercial relationships.
• Maintain and expand a strong network of utilities, suppliers, industrial clients, traders, and renewable developers.
• Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive developments across the Benelux energy markets.
