S&P Global Energy is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead consultative sales across Financial Services clients in Paris. You will manage end-to-end sales, grow subscriptions, and expand the customer base by building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in sales, strong negotiation and client-management skills, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to maximize revenue and ensure customer value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in energy/commodities.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Excellent client relationship management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25%+.

Responsabilités

• Manage and execute the end-to-end sales process to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Employ consultative sales techniques to develop referrals, generate opportunities, follow up on leads, and maintain a healthy pipeline with strong momentum.
• Identify and engage prospective customer groups, collaborating with Marketing, Product and Sales Specialists to convert opportunities into sales.
• Develop new customer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase subscription value and expand the client base.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships by understanding customers' priorities, challenges, and requirements.
• Position relevant products, services and solutions based on customer needs.
