Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking a People Tech & Analytics Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines, automate workflows, and deliver insights from our HRIS/ATS and payroll systems. You will own data quality, dashboards, and governance, partnering with People Operations to automate processes and generate leadership-ready analytics.

Ideal candidates bring SQL, Python, and hands-on experience with HR tech stacks, automation tools, and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering or analytics engineering within HR tech.
• Strong SQL and Python skills and hands-on pipeline work.
• Experience with HR systems like Ashby and API integrations.
• Automation experience with n8n, Make, Zapier or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake/BigQuery and the modern data stack.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot HR data pipelines and integrations.
• Develop Metabase dashboards for people data insights.
• Design automated HR workflows and productionise AI use cases.
• Configure HR tech stack with roles, permissions, and country setups.
• Lead issue resolution with audit trails and production readiness.
• Collaborate with HR Ops and Rewards to implement data governance.
