Job summary

Mistral is hiring a People Tech & Analytics Engineer to build systems, data pipelines, and automations for People Operations. You will connect HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity and finance tools, turning HR data into reliable metrics and timely insights.

You’ll work hands-on with our HR tech stack, create end-to-end data workflows, and deliver scalable automations that reduce manual work for the People team while partnering with HR operations and reward stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering or analytics engineering within HR/People context is preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for building pipelines and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems (Ashby) and integrating them via APIs and data pipelines.
• Real automation experience with tools like n8n/Make/Zapier and with Mistral's own tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data pipelines across HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity and finance.
• Implement and evolve Metabase dashboards and self-serve reporting for managers and partners.
• Design, test and document automated workflows with Mistral models and APIs, with audit-friendly runbooks.
• Configure HR tech stack changes, support rollout of system changes and integrations.
• Architect end-to-end HR workflows with stakeholders and implement data governance practices.
• Provide enablement materials and tier-1 support for the People team.
